The sad truth about the real estate business is that it is ridiculously easy to get a real estate license in the State of Maryland. Here are the requirements for a real estate salesperson license in Maryland. Most companies will hire or affiliate any person who meets these minimum requirements for a license. Unfortunately, there are far too many inexperienced, nasty, lazy and incompetent real estate licensees in Maryland. The level of service provided by many agents and companies deteriorated as the number of licensees ballooned several years ago. Our company has taken a different approach. We will only affiliate good, experienced agents with service oriented attitudes. The only time we bring on a new licensee is when one of our experienced agents hires a personal assistant to work underneath them.

We believe an agent's past is usually indicative of their future and we won't take chances on people we think may not fit in to our culture. All of our Sales Associates are serious about the real estate business and demonstrate their sincerity and committment to the real estate business by paying office fees to Real Estate Professionals, Inc. every month. Compare this to the typical real estate company where part time agents dabble in the business.
